Music Theory Club
Group lesson in music theory after school in the music room at BISS Gausel. Each student receives a tailored program with individual follow-up.
We follow ABRSM's syllabus and students can choose if they wish to enter for exams or not. Exam grades 1-5 take place online when the student is ready. The entry deadline is one month ahead of the exam date. Exam grades 6-8 are arranged as paper exams at the beginning of November or June each year. The entry deadline is about 2 months in advance.
Individual lessons
One-on-one theory lessons are arranged directly with the teacher and student at a time after school that suits both. Lessons will take place in the music loft at BISS Gausel, unless other arrangements are made. Content is tailored to student's level and wishes and may or may not include ABRSM's syllabus. The price depends on the agreed lesson duration. This option is suitable for students who can't attend the club or need a closer follow-up than the club can give.
